ATARGATIS haben die Suche nach einem geeigneten Gitarristen beendet.
Es freut uns, euch mitteilen zu können, dass wir den Posten an der Gitarre wieder besetzt haben. Unser neuer Mann an Bord der ATARGATIS-Crew heißt Artur Vladinovskij und kommt aus Lettland.
Artur wird bereits die anstehenden Konzerte mit uns bestreiten. Das Nocturnal Culture Festival (Deutzen /D) am 5. September wird seine Live-Feuertaufe mit uns sein.
Wir freuen uns, in Artur einen professionellen, engagierten und äußerst netten Musiker gefunden zu haben, der für die Band sicherlich eine große Bereicherung darstellt. Willkommen an Bord, Artur!
Wir möchten uns auf diesem Weg auch bei allen Bewerbern, die aus allen Regionen und Ländern rund um den Globus kamen, bedanken! Wir sind uns sicher, dass jeder von euch weiterhin einen erfolgreichen Weg gehen wird.
Ebenfalls wollen wir uns nochmal bei unserem ehemaligen Gitarristen AZMO für das Aushelfen auf dem Wave-Gotik-Treffen (Leipzig /D) bedanken, ohne den wir unseren Gig hätten absagen müssen.

| | Album & EP out soon!
Rebellion werden am 24.7.2009 ihr drittes und letztes Album der Wikinger-Saga veröffentlichen. Titel des Albums:
Arise - From Ginnungagap to Ragnarök
The History of the Vikings – Volume III
Im Mai 2009 wird noch eine EP mit vier Tracks veröffentlicht, die unter anderem zwei Titel des neuen Albums, einen Bonustrack und den Hit Rebellion – The Clans are marching von Grave Digger, der noch mal komplett neu aufgenommen wurde, und damit soundmäßig ins 21te Jahrhundert transportiert wird.
Zusätzlich gibt es noch ein kleines Schmankerl in Form eines Videoclips dazu.
Es wird auch an einer DVD gearbeitet, die Videomaterial beinhaltet, welches in den letzten 8 Jahren aufgenommen wurde. Inhalt sind eine Menge Studio, Tour und Hintergrundszenen. Diese wird vorrausichtlich im Herbst veröffentlicht.

| | New album
Die schwedische Band INMORIA wurde im April 2008 von Ex-Tad Morose Keyboarder Dan Eriksson gegründet.
Als seit 10 Jahren aktives Mitglied der Metal Szene fand er es nun an der Zeit seine eigenen Ideen umszusetzen. Dan baut sich ein eigenes Studio und erwarb das nötige Equipment in seinem Haus in Bollnäs, Sweden.
Zu Anfang spielte Dan noch alle Instrumente selbst aber fand bald heraus, dass er eine richtige Band brauchte. Als erstes konne er seine langjährigen Kumpel Christer “Krunt” Andersson, Gitarrist von Tad Morose gewinnen. Christer stie gerne ein und wurde gefolgt von Peter Morén (Tad Morose, Steel Attack) der die Drums übernahm und Bassist Tommi Karppanen (Tad Morose, God Awful Machine). Die Sängersuche konnte ebenfalls schnell abgeschlossen werden denn Charles "Chulle" Rytkönen (Morgana Lefay) überzeugte bei ersten Proben auf Anhieb – das INMORIA Line up war endlich komplett.
Ein Name musste gefunden werden und Dan als grosser „Herr der Ringe“ Fan wurde von dem Namen der Minen MORIA inspiriert – und wandelte diesen um in INMORIA und der Kreis war geschlossen. Die Atmosphäre der dunklen Zwergenminen passt perfekt zum düsteren, mystischen Metal der Band und beschreibt am besten die Musik der band.
Nachdem INMORIA über ihre Myspace Seite erste Songs online gestellt hatten zeigten Massacre Records Interesse und ein Deal war schnell in trockenen Tüchern. Das Debut der erfahrenen Musiker mit neuem Namen „Invsible Wounds“ präsentiert äusserst starken, trendfreien Metal in der Schnittmenge von Savatage, Nevermore und Morgana Lefay. Ein herausragendes Metal-Album mit dem 2009 zu rechnen sein wird!

We played February, 14th a very successful show at the FME in Helsinki.
We are very happy that our fans voted our new album ‚Cult Of The Dead’ on position 15 as best album of the year 2008 in the German Rock Hard magazine – this was a really nice surprise. Same that our new album was entering the Rock Hard, Germany reader charts on position 3!!! and in Legacy magazine on position # 2 – this is killer!!!

Nun erscheint das legendäre und seit Jahren vergriffene Debut “Embalmed Existence” als sensationeller Re-Release bei Massacre Records. Das Original Album wurde von Jim Morris remastered und um nicht weniger als 9 (!) Bonus Tracks ergänzt – ein absoluter Top Re-Release eines Death Metal Klassikers.

| | Neues Album bei Massacre!
Die dänischen Death-Thrasher ILLDISPOSED sind bei Massacre Records gelandet. Die Arbeiten am Nachfolger zum diesjährigen Killer Album "The Prestige" haben bereits begonnen - das Album soll am 29.08. erscheinen. Geplant sind ein Release als jewel case CD, limitiertes Digipak mit Bonus Material sowie als streng limitiertes Box Set mit exclusivem T-Shirt!!!

We're happy to announce our new co-operation with Massacre Records. We've known these guys for years and can finally start working with them. In spring 2009 we'll hit the studio and record the successor to "The Prestige". It's still too early to put some words on that - but our fans
won't get disappointed.

Wizard stehen in den Startlöchern zur Produktion des achten
Studio-Albums. Nachdem man 2003 bereits den Göttervater Odin besungen
hatte, wurde nun als Thema kein geringerer als der Donnergott Thor
ausgesucht.
Im Oktober werden alle Instrumente im Studio von Andy Horn
aufgenommen. Für Sound und Masterarbeiten konnte die Band Achim Köhler verpflichten.
Wie beim Vorgänger Goochan, wird Anthony Clarkson für das Artwork verantwortlich sein.
Einen kleinen Vorgeschmack bezüglich der neuen Bandfotos findet Ihr im Anhang.
Als Fotograf und Künstler hat Jochen van Eden wieder ganze Arbeit geleistet.

Anglo-Chilean thrash masters CRIMINAL are proud to announce their signing of a new recording deal with Germany's Massacre Records. The band will enter the studio in September to record its sixth studio album for an early 2009 release. The follow-up to 2005's “Sicario” will be released in a limited edition package including a bonus DVD.
Vocalist/guitarist Anton Reisenegger states: “It's great to be on a label like Massacre, that has carved its niche in today's overcrowded market through hard work and dedication. We are looking forward to a long and productive collaboration.
“I have nothing but good things to say about the staff at Metal Blade Europe,” the frontman comments on the band's former label, “but the company's priorities were clearly somewhere else, so it made no sense for us to continue working together. I honestly wish them all the best for the future.”
Formed in the early 90s in Santiago de Chile by ex-Pentagram mastermind Reisenegger and guitar virtuoso Rodrigo Contreras, CRIMINAL were combining elements of thrash, hardcore and death metal long before the term “metalcore” was even thought of. The band enjoyed a meteoric rise to the forefront of the South American metal scene, including five-digit sales, shows with the likes of Kreator, Sepultura and Slayer and a nomination for Best Rock Video at the MTV Latino Video Music Awards, but was faced with severe personal and business problems around the turn of the decade. Reisenegger and Contreras then decided to relocate to the UK, regrouping in a half-Chilean, half-British line-up. Since then, the band has played on major European festivals such as Wacken and Summer Breeze, as well as support shows with bands such as Chimaira, Six Feet Under, Brujeria and Lamb of God.
CRIMINAL's latest studio offering, “Sicario”, was hailed by the press as one of the finest thrash metal releases of 2005 and was voted into the Top Ten Albums of the Year by the readers of Terrorizer magazine. At the same time, the band's status in their home country remains unbroken, as evidenced by a four-page interview in the Chilean edition of Rolling Stone magazine and a recent show supporting Megadeth in front of over 14,000 metalheads.
